John F. Galvin is a partner with Capital Management Group. John joined Capital Management Group in 2007 and focuses on financial planning, investment management and risk oversight.

John has worked in the industry since 2004. Prior to joining Capital Management Group, he was an operations analyst with the Royal Bank of Scotland’s North American Fixed Income Dealership Desk and an Internal Audit Analyst for Fidelity Investments’ Corporate and Capital Intermediary Services division.

He is a graduate of Bentley University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He holds a FINRA series 7, 63 and 65 securities registration license and a Life, Health and Disability Income insurance license. He has also obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional – (CFP^®) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

John lives in Connecticut and in his free time enjoys exercising, flag football and traveling.
